Terms and conditions

Terms for using MeetInspect

These terms govern access to MeetInspect workspaces, inspection tools, reports and related services.

v1.0

Effective date: 22 July 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These terms govern access to MeetInspect. By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the service, you agree to these terms for yourself and, when applicable, the organisation or business you represent. You must be legally able to enter a contract and authorised to act for any organisation whose workspace you administer.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate account information, protect credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. A sole operator may create and administer a workspace. Workspace owners and administrators control membership, roles, inspection content and access. They are responsible for obtaining any notices, permissions or lawful basis needed before entering information about clients, occupants, owners or properties.

3. Permitted use

MeetInspect provides tools for planning inspections, capturing evidence, managing templates, coordinating work and creating reports. You may not misuse the service, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, upload unlawful or infringing content, interfere with other customers, resell access without permission, or use the service to harm a person or property. You remain responsible for professional judgment, legal compliance and verifying every inspection and report.

4. Free access, subscriptions and billing

Some workspaces have free or temporary access and others use a paid web subscription. Available capabilities and limits depend on the workspace access assigned by MeetInspect. Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed through the MeetInspect web service under the price, renewal, tax and cancellation information shown before checkout. The free iOS application is an operational companion: it does not sell subscriptions, show prices or direct people to an external purchase flow.

Unless the checkout or order form states otherwise, subscriptions renew for the selected term until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund a current term. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, are not limited by these terms. Deleting an account cancels a subscription solely owned by that account; a shared workspace requires an ownership transfer first.

5. Customer data and privacy

You retain rights in content submitted to a workspace. You grant MeetInspect the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, transform and deliver that content to provide and secure the service. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions for submitted content. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. MeetInspect rights and feedback

MeetInspect and its licensors retain rights in the software, branding, documentation and service. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is authorised. If you provide feedback, MeetInspect may use it without restriction or obligation.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep MeetInspect reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change to improve the service, address security or comply with law. Material changes that significantly reduce a paid service will be communicated when reasonably possible. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies of records you are legally required to retain.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

MeetInspect is workflow software, not legal, engineering, safety or regulatory advice. Inspection conclusions and reports must be reviewed by a qualified person. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties that can legally be excluded. Neither party is responsible for indirect or consequential losses where such exclusion is lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Suspension, termination and deletion

You may stop using the service or delete your account. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful use or a material breach, and will provide notice where practical. On termination, access ends and content is deleted or retained according to the Privacy Policy, customer instructions and applicable legal requirements.

10. General terms

If an order form or written agreement with MeetInspect applies, it controls where it conflicts with these online terms. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign an account or agreement without consent except as part of a lawful business transfer; MeetInspect may assign these terms as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the service.
