Cookies and similar technologies on the MeetInspect website

This policy covers the public MeetInspect website at www.meetinspect.com. Signed-in areas of the web workspace and the iOS application are covered by the Privacy Policy. “Cookies” here also means comparable browser storage such as localStorage, because the same consent rules apply to both.

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and to record the choice you make about the other categories. These are used under the legitimate-interest and “strictly necessary” exemptions and cannot be switched off, because switching them off would include forgetting that you asked us to switch things off.

Analytics. Google Analytics 4, used to count visits and see which pages are read. IP anonymisation is enabled and Google Signals is not. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Marketing. Reserved for advertising measurement. MeetInspect does not currently run advertising and sets no marketing cookies. The category exists so the control is already in place if that changes, and it is off unless you turn it on.

mi-consent — strictly necessary, browser localStorage, first party. Records which categories you allowed and on what date. Persists until you clear it or we publish a new revision of this policy.

_ga — analytics, cookie, first party, 2 years. Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not double-counted.

_ga_2YE2HYR3WH — analytics, cookie, first party, 2 years. Keeps session state for the MeetInspect property.

The analytics cookies above are set only after consent in the EU/EEA and UK, and only until you opt out in the United States. If you have not consented, no _ga cookie is written and the Google Analytics script is never downloaded.

EU, EEA and United Kingdom — we ask first. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage runs until you accept. “Accept all” and “Reject all” are presented with equal prominence and nothing is pre-ticked. Refusing is free and costs you no functionality.

United States — you can opt out. Analytics runs by default and you may switch it off at any time using “Do not sell or share my personal information” in the banner, or the cookie settings link in the footer. MeetInspect does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are used in the CPRA; the control is provided so the choice is available regardless.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal we treat it as a valid opt-out automatically. You will not be asked, and no optional storage is set.

Use the Cookie settings link in the site footer to reopen the preferences dialog and change any category. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and takes effect immediately — no page reload is needed. You can also delete cookies and site data through your browser settings, which resets the site to its unconsented state.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited for visitors in Europe. Where analytics data reaches the United States, Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Google's own description of how it uses data from sites that use its services is published at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The website is served by Vercel, which processes request logs for security and delivery. This is strictly necessary processing and is not a cookie.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port personal information, to object to processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. If the cookies we use change materially we will update this page and publish a new consent revision, which asks every visitor again rather than assuming an old answer still applies. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
